Freshly detailed Ford F-150 front cabin in West Plains, MO — example of what a full interior detail costs

Car detailing in West Plains, MO costs about $80 to $300 for most vehicles. At Premier Detailing an exterior detail starts at $80, an interior detail starts at $150, and a full interior-and-exterior detail runs $225 to $300 depending on the vehicle. Window tinting is $120 for two front windows up to $350 for a full car. Those are our real prices, and since we're mobile, there's nothing extra for coming to your driveway anywhere around West Plains.

That's the short answer. Below is what's actually behind those numbers, so you can tell whether a quote — ours or anyone else's — is fair.

Car Detailing Prices in West Plains: The Full List

These are our starting prices. Every vehicle gets a firm quote before we start, and the quote is the price — no add-ons sprung on you when we're done.

Add-ons (any package): pet hair removal $50–$70, odor removal / ozone treatment $50–$80, engine bay cleaning $50–$80, interior ceramic treatment $100–$150.

Specialty: window tinting $120 (two fronts) to $350 (full car plus windshield strip); vans from $150; RVs from $500 after an in-person look; aircraft from $400.

Memberships: if you want it done regularly, a full detail on a schedule is $130 per visit bi-weekly, $155 monthly, or $170 quarterly — $55 to $95 less per visit than booking one-off.

What Moves the Price Up or Down

Why is one truck $225 and another $300? Four things, in order of how much they matter:

1. Condition — this is the big one

A daily driver that gets vacuumed now and then is a two-hour interior. A farm truck with a season of red Ozarks clay ground into the carpet, or a car where a gallon of milk went bad under the seat in July, is a four-hour interior with extraction and ozone. Same vehicle, very different job. When you send us a photo of the worst spot, we can quote it tight.

2. Size

More square footage of carpet, glass, and paint takes more time and product. That's why the table has three columns. A Suburban is not a Civic.

3. Pet hair, smoke, and mold

These are their own category because they don't come out with a normal vacuum. Dog hair woven into cloth seats takes a special brush and a lot of patience, which is why it's a $50–$70 add-on rather than buried in the base price. Smoke and mildew need ozone to actually kill the smell instead of covering it.

4. What you want at the end

"Clean" and "showroom" are different targets. If the car's going on Facebook Marketplace next week, a full detail with the interior ceramic treatment is worth it — detailing pays for itself at resale. If it's a work truck you just want to stop smelling like a work truck, an interior with ozone does the job for less.

Why Mobile Doesn't Cost More

People assume "we come to you" means a travel fee. It doesn't — not within our service area. We don't pay rent on a shop, so that money goes toward driving to you instead. You keep your Saturday, and the price is the same as if you'd dropped it off somewhere. If you're out past our normal range, we'll tell you up front, not after.

When a Detail Is Not Worth It (Honest Version)

  • You just want it washed. A $15 automatic wash is fine for that. A detail is a different thing — here's the actual difference.
  • The car is worth less than the detail. If it's a $1,200 beater you're driving into the ground, spend $80 on the exterior and skip the rest. We'll tell you that on the phone.
  • You're hoping to fix peeling clear coat or torn seats. Detailing cleans and protects; it doesn't repaint or reupholster. We'll make it look as good as it can, but we won't pretend it's a restoration.
  • You want a $40 "full detail." That exists, and it's a quick wash and a wipe-down. Here's what you actually get at each price point.

A Real Example From Our Own Work

The Ford F-150 in our gallery is the typical West Plains truck interior: front cabin and rear floor packed with gravel-road dust, boot mud in the footwells, and a back seat that hadn't seen a vacuum in a while. That's a full interior — vacuum, steam on the seats and carpet, every vent and cupholder, interior glass — and it lands at the top end of the truck interior range because of the condition, not the size. The before-and-after slider on the gallery page is the actual job, same truck, same light.

A full interior and exterior detail at Premier Detailing is $225 to $300 depending on the vehicle: sedans and coupes $225–$285, SUVs and trucks $225–$300. That's a firm quote before we start, and there's no travel fee for coming to you within our service area.
How much does an interior detail cost?
Interior detailing starts at $150 and runs up to about $250 for larger or rougher vehicles. Pet hair removal ($50–$70) and odor/ozone treatment ($50–$80) are add-ons because they take extra time and equipment.

How long does a detail take?
An exterior is about 1–1.5 hours, an interior 2–3 hours, and a full detail about 3–4 hours depending on size and condition. You don't have to be there the whole time — most customers go about their day.
Do you give exact quotes or estimates?
Exact quotes. Tell us the year, make, model and a bit about the condition (a photo helps if it's rough) and you'll get a firm number, usually the same day. The number we quote is the number you pay.
